According to the developer, New World Aeternum Season 8 Season of the Divide will officially meet us on May 13. The new season introduces a lot of exciting content waiting for us to explore and experience, including a new PvP mode, a new barber shop, and various limited-time events.
New World is a large-scale multiplayer role-playing game launched by the developer on PC in September 2021. Later, it was launched on PS 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 15, 2024 under the new name New World Aeternum.
Like other large-scale PC games, the game has undergone a lot of changes since its release, introducing more exciting new content through seasonal updates. The new season aims to create a high-risk, high-reward experience, so that no matter how good our game level is, we can find a way to play that suits us and get a better gaming experience in the game.
New Season Content
In the weeks after the launch of Season of the Divide, expected to be in early June, the game will also launch a Hardcore Seasonal World. Hardcore is a relatively difficult mode where we can start a new character from an unfallen state, complete the main quest, get equipment and upgrades, and get elite rewards after surviving.
If you die once, you can’t unlock unfallen rewards, but the character can still be used after the first death, and players can still unlock other rewards for the character through their accounts.
Season 8 will introduce new maps and modes, such as Coral Divide Outpost Rush map, Barebones 10v10 Capture Flag PvP modes, and 3v3 Arena maps.
We can also team up with friends to challenge super powerful World bosses in Expeditions. In the new season, if we can defeat Mammoth Mahantaram, Scarab Boss Khepri, and Fire Naga Ifrit, we can get rich loot.
The new season will also open Stylemancer in Barbershop. Barbershop Tokens can be obtained during the game, or tokens can be exchanged for New World Aeternum Coins to adjust the character’s appearance.
Season Pass in the game includes Free Track and Premium Track. Free Track has Vampire Vestments Artifacts, new Lich Gloves and Sinner’s Set tool skins. Premium Track includes five Blackguard Set armor skins, nine Fallen Set weapon skins, new dye sets and new Artifacts.
Similar to Season 7, the new season will also host many seasonal events, such as Weapon and Gathering XP Boost events. Participate in Springtide Bloom, you will have the opportunity to get spring-themed accessories and other rewards. In addition, events such as Faction Fest: Expeditions and Fury of the Spriggan will bring you rich event rewards.
In general, Season 8 has made a series of adjustments to the gameplay, which will bring us a more complete gaming experience.
