How To Tackle 9 Challenging Map Modifiers In ARC Raiders For Better Loot?

Having played ARC Raiders for a while now, besides exploring the main map, have you tried map modifiers? They’re very similar to the main map, but some limited-time map modifiers appear, such as Night Raid, Harvester, and Lush Blooms.

These map affixes often add fun and challenge to your game, and you can also earn generous loot rewards for them. Let’s learn about these nine map affixes together. How To Tackle 9 Challenging Map Modifiers In ARC Raiders For Better Loot?

Night Raid

Beware, all Raiders! Night Raid is a high-difficulty event, with all difficulty levels at maximum except for Dam Battlegrounds.

You’ll need to collect items and extract at night. The dimly lit map hides many dangers; enhanced Arcs may appear at any time and ambush other players.

Besides facing these dangers, the number of activation points on the map decreases during Night Raid. This means you must be extremely careful with every directional choice, as missing anything will require traversing long distances to retrieve it.

However, the value of loot increases significantly during Night Raid. If you can withstand the dangers, you’re likely to obtain very rare loot, making it an excellent map modifier for skilled players.

Additionally, Raider Hatches will not be available during Night Raid, so Raiders participating in Night Raid don’t need to prepare Raider Hatch Keys in advance.

Launch Tower Loot

Launch Tower Loot is only available on Spaceport map. It increases the amount of loot at the top of the tower, but the difficulty is equally high.

The abundant loot is incredibly tempting; I doubt any Raider can resist it. To obtain it, you’ll have to compete with many other Raiders. Furthermore, many Arcs will guard the loot around Launch Tower.

So how do you get to the top of Launch Tower?

There’s a zipline at the base leading directly to the top, but it requires an Industrial Battery to unlock. Therefore, you must first locate the Industrial Battery on the map; it might appear at one of the tunnel entrances or near the two spherical gas tanks.

These are all around Launch Tower. But you need to be quick enough, or you’ll have to compete with other Raiders.

This is destined to be a combat-heavy adventure; whether searching for the battery, acquiring loot, or escaping, it will be fraught with danger. So, Raiders, stay ready for battle!

Harvester

Harvester is also a challenging combat event, but this time the danger doesn’t come from other Raiders, but from the formidable enemy, Queen.

It will relentlessly patrol around the crashed Harvester, ready to kill any Raiders drooling over the loot. Want to challenge it solo? Virtually impossible; you must cooperate with other players to defeat Queen.

But defeating Queen doesn’t immediately grant you Harvester loot. You’ll need to find three Fusion Cores nearby. Insert them in the bottom center, and 12 yellow targets will appear. Shoot them all down to enter Harvester and collect the loot.

Here, you can obtain blueprints and ARC Raiders Items. These steps may sound complicated, but the biggest challenge in the entire modifier is simply killing Queen.

During subsequent puzzles, while Harvester will issue electric shocks as a warning, they won’t threaten your health.

Hidden Bunker

This is a large puzzle map modifier for Spaceport. Besides providing a large amount of loot, Hidden Bunker contains a currently unsolved puzzle, perhaps related to future ARC Raiders content. You can try solving this puzzle as well.

Returning to Hidden Bunker puzzle, you need to activate four antennas on the map. Activation progress is shared across the map, so you can cooperate with other players to activate them.

Each antenna requires two interactions. After the first interaction, Wasp and Hornet will appear; you must destroy them. Only after completing the second interaction is the antenna in that location truly activated.

Once all four antennas are activated, multiple entrances will appear on the west side of the building. Entering them will allow you to obtain Hidden Bunker’s loot.

The unsolved puzzle mentioned above is also located here. If you are interested, remember to download information from the eight terminals inside.

Husk Graveyard

Players lacking ARC husks should definitely pay attention to Husk Graveyard. Here you can obtain many valuable ARC items, such as Wasp Husks and ARC Couriers.

The acquisition is relatively easy. Once found, immediately open Arcs and search for the materials you need. The only danger is that some Arcs will release electricity to warn harvesters. When you see Arcs sparking, remember to dodge and collect them only after confirming it is safe.

Prospecting Probes

This is a modifier that can obtain many ARC Probes. However, it’s not as peaceful as the modifiers mentioned above. These detectors come with an alarm that attracts Arc Drones or other players, potentially triggering a battle. You can also use this effect to ambush others.

Electromagnetic Storm

This is a large map modifier for ARC Raiders, and it’s quite difficult, somewhat similar to Night Raid. During Electromagnetic Storm, the map will display spectacular lightning effects.

This will create a thunderstorm, dim lighting, and lightning strikes that threaten your health. When you see sparks appearing on the ground, remember to avoid them.

Of course, some clever Raiders will use the lightning to deal with Arc Drones. Besides the severe weather threat, Electromagnetic Storm also reduces activation points and disables Raider Hatches. Like Night Raid, you no longer need to prepare Raider Hatch Keys in advance.

However, it will bring you significant benefits. In addition to obtaining more in-game items, you can also earn trial rewards by completing mission objectives.

Uncovered Caches

Uncovered Caches primarily involve finding buried treasure on the map. These are usually well-hidden, and you can only locate them by their ticking sounds, red arrow flags, and silver containers, requiring sharp hearing and eyesight.

Speaking of the ticking sound, as astute Raiders might have guessed, these treasures are equipped with time bombs that will explode if exposed for too long.

Therefore, once you discover and dig up these buried treasures, you should collect them. Otherwise, it would be a waste.

Lush Blooms

Compared to ARC Raiders map modifiers mentioned above, Lush Blooms are incredibly peaceful events. During its duration, leaf-shaped markers will appear in certain areas of the map, indicating an increase in natural loot and Wicker Baskets in that area.

This is a great time to collect natural loot. Additionally, some loot can fetch a good price, such as Great Mullein.

Players short on money but lacking strength should pay attention to Lush Blooms, as it reduces the map’s difficulty. You can use this to earn money or collect loot to improve your strength.

These are the main map modifiers currently available for ARC Raiders. Raiders can choose and participate in them based on their needs.

Additionally, it’s worth looking forward to the rumored release of a new map modifier called Snow Variant in December, which seems very fitting for the current season.
