As is well known in ARC Raiders' unique PvPvE mechanics, players can fight against other hostile players, but share a common enemy: ARCs. These ARCs possess high mobility and pose a significant threat.
Therefore, when encountering ARCs, you should make a decision as early as possible. Whether to avoid direct confrontation or to choose to fight them head-on is entirely up to you.

Here are some ARC enemies to watch out for in the game and their details. You can assess your own strength to determine whether to attack in ARC Raiders, hopefully helping you to successfully complete the battle or retreat.
1. Wasp
- Attack Method: Quickly burst with light ammo
- Weakness: Thrusters
Wasp is a small, unarmored drone capable of aerial reconnaissance. While a single Wasp is relatively weak and can be shot down by any ARC Raiders weapon, it still needs to be treated with caution.
If you are careless, it will inflict considerable damage. Furthermore, be wary of large numbers of Wasps attacking together, which will be an extremely difficult situation to handle.
2. Hornet
- Attack Method: High-speed shock projectiles
- Weakness: Rear thrusters
Hornet is like an enhanced version of Wasp, possessing similar attack methods, but Hornet boasts significantly greater offensive capabilities. Its attacks stun raiders, slowing player reaction time. This makes players vulnerable to combined attacks from other players and raiders in ARC Raiders.
Hornet's front thrusters are protected. Therefore, you can focus your attacks on the rear thrusters to destabilize or even cause it to crash.
3. Rocketeer
- Attack Method: Numerous rockets, creating area-of-effect damage.
- Weakness: Attacking thrusters or the red glowing core while reloading.
Rocketeer is equipped with powerful guided missiles and possesses considerable defensive capabilities. Imagine the threat this enemy poses in ARC Raiders.
However, don't worry, some heavy ammo-type weapons will help you inflict significant damage. We recommend using ARC raiders gear like Showstopper and Bettina to stun Rocketeer, causing it to fall through the air and become extremely vulnerable.
4. Tick
- Attack Method: Jumps and attaches to the player, dealing continuous damage.
- Weakness: Low health, no armor, can be removed.
Ticks resemble crawling spiders or crabs, usually appearing in groups in inconspicuous areas behind buildings or cover. You can eliminate them with ranged weapons before they get close, or, with the help of teammates, use melee weapons like Burletta or Hairpin to shoot them down.
5. Leaper
- Attack Method: Jumps and attaches, periodic kinetic energy.
- Weakness: Leg joints.
Leapers are highly mobile, excel in close combat, and can perform long-range jumps, dealing extremely high damage. Their attack method is similar to Ticks, but more powerful, so methods effective against Ticks are ineffective against them.
You can try attacking Leaper's leg joints to immobilize it and defeat it. Additionally, you can guide it to areas with varied terrain in ARC Raiders, avoiding open areas and close-quarters combat.
If you want to defeat this ARC robot faster, it's recommended to use Blaze Grenade, which will create an explosion upon impact, causing continuous damage to Leaper.
6. The Queen
- Attack Methods: Devastating mortars, firing Sustained laser attacks.
- Weakness: Core, joints.
The Queen is an enemy that needs to be taken seriously in ARC Raiders. Its powerful attacks can be fatal to players in one hit. Therefore, teamwork is a good option.
When attacking, it's best to choose ARC Raiders items with high ARC Armor Penetration, such as grenades or Hullcrackers.
However, note that even with these weapons, it will still take time to defeat it. You should prepare sufficient ammunition and weapons to deal with it.
7. Matriarch
- Attack Methods: Rocket Fire, Gas Mortars and Energy Shield.
- Weakness: Becomes vulnerable after its shield is destroyed.
Since Matriarch's release, we've seen many players attempt to challenge this powerful ARC robot to obtain valuable ARC Raiders items in game. However, the results haven't always been as smooth as they hoped.
But it's not invincible. You and your teammates can look for opportunities to destroy its shield and then attack its weakness, thus shortening the time needed for victory.
Facing such a formidable enemy, you should use weapons with effective firepower. Some heavy ammo weapons can help you secure victory more quickly.
In ARC Raiders, although players fight individually, the common enemy remains constant. When encountering a powerful ARC, players should unite, eliminate the enemy in front of them first, and then resolve conflicts between teams.
The key to victory in PvE battles is understanding the weaknesses of ARC enemies and skillfully using certain strategies. With sufficient preparation, you can achieve final victory without suffering any losses.
