In the second season of 2025, League of Legends Patch 25.09 brings a brand new theme to the game, Spirit Blossom. Not only has the art style of the entire map changed, but new passes and skins have also been launched. Let’s take a look at the specific important changes in Patch 25.09.
Annie Buffs
- Q - Disintegrate: Damage increased from 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 80% AP) to 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 80% AP)
- W - Incinerate: Mana costs decreased from 90 / 95 / 100 / 105 / 110 to 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90
- R - Summon Tibbers: Passive Magic Penetration has been increased from 10-15% to 15-20%.
Annie received a big buff in Patch 25.09. She is a burst-damage mage with crowd control and the ability to buff teammates. Annie’s biggest weakness is her lack of movement, which makes her stun hard to hit quickly. Hopefully, this buff will increase her chances of being on the field.
Bounty Adjustments
- Bounties for kills and assists increased by 17%
- Bounties for farming minions increased by 14%
Patch 25.09 bounty adjustment makes the bounty mechanism more biased towards the lagging team. When the two teams are evenly matched, the champion bounty will be suppressed. This prevents one team from using a high-damage hero such as an assassin to harvest the other team’s high-bounty players to widen the economic gap between the teams.
The bounty suppression mechanism will be activated 6 minutes after the game starts. When this balance is broken, the bounty suppression mechanism will automatically be lifted.
Tier 3 Boots
- Tier 3 boots cost: reduced from 750 to 500.
- Swiftmarch’s movement speed has been reduced from 70 to 65. But it now grants adaptive strength equal to 5% of movement speed.
- Forever Forward: Total bonus movement speed outside of combat is 10% to 8%.
- Spellslinger’s Shoes: Magic penetration is increased by 8% to 7%.
The cost reduction of Tier 3 Boots will allow players to choose to equip Tier 3 Boots earlier, as many players are unwilling to spend 750 gold to upgrade their boots.
Map Changes
- Turrets, Inhibitors, and Nexus have received a Spirit Blossom-style art upgrade.
- The new map draws on the essence of Ionia’s history and spiritual realm, blending natural elements to present a peaceful environment.
Patch 25.09 is also a warm-up for Patch 25.10, and the next patch will have a new mode debut.
