WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 is coming soon, are you ready?
If you don't prepare now, you might find yourself scrambling when Phase 2 officially launches, such as suddenly realizing your character level is too low or you don't have enough items when raiding.
However, if you're a new player to WoW TBC Anniversary, you might not know what to do. Don't worry, I'll explain in detail what you need to prepare and how to do it.
Improving Character Strength
If you want to play the new raids immediately after TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 launches, you must quickly improve your character's strength through various means, otherwise it will be difficult to integrate into the upcoming high-level raids. You can start by increasing your character level and upgrading your gear:
Increasing Level
The first thing to do, of course, is to level your character to the maximum in-game level. You can level up quickly by doing Daily Quests and Raid Attunements, and participating in various raids.
Furthermore, during this process, you can quickly accumulate a large amount of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Gold, which can be used to exchange for new items with other players after TBC Anniversary Phase 2 launches.
Upgrading Gear
If your character has reached the maximum level in the game but still feels their DPS or healing isn't high enough, it might be because your character is wearing low-quality gear.
So, how can you quickly acquire powerful gear before WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 launches?
Don't worry, you can now get Gladiator Gears - whether it's various weapon types, armor to compensate for stats, or top-tier shields - at Arena Vendors for 60% of the original price.
However, if you don't participate in PvP at all, or rarely participate in Arena activities, resulting in not accumulating Arena Points to exchange for Gladiator Gears, you might miss this opportunity.
However, there's still some time before Phase 2 launches, so you can focus more on Arena activities and accumulate Arena Points before Phase 2 goes live.
Accumulating Resources
Once WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 launches, the demand for various potions and materials will increase significantly, and prices will rise accordingly. Therefore, preparing resources in advance is a wise decision.
Potions
First, let's talk about potions that can be used in combat. With the release of Phase 2, players will undoubtedly be busy challenging various raids, leading to a significant increase in the demand for potions. Haste and Destruction potions, in particular, with their wide range of applications, will be consumed in large quantities during battles against all mobs and bosses.
Furthermore, Free Action and Living Action potions are essential for certain bosses, such as The Lurker Below and Lady Vashj. They can remove some of the boss's most annoying abilities, preventing players from being instantly killed.
If you don't want to spend several times the amount of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Gold to acquire these potions after the release of TBC Anniversary Phase 2, it's best to prepare now.
Items
Besides potions, there are some other items that are often underestimated but equally important.
For example, Thornling Seed can restrain monsters in certain environments, providing players with extra room for error; Netherweave Net can instantly trap Lady Vashj during combat; Goblin Land Mines can also be helpful in combat with Lady Vashj.
Nether Vortex
Nether Vortex is also a very important item. Players who want to obtain Tier 5 Best-in-Slot Belts or various Tier 5 gear, as well as those who want to upgrade Tier 5 weapons, must use Nether Vortex as a crucial medium.
However, obtaining Nether Vortex is quite difficult: you need to defeat Kael'thas or Lady Vashj. But each defeat only yields a fixed two Nether Vortexes, which is far too few for the demand from players.
Especially after the release of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2, players' demand for Nether Vortex will greatly increase as they strive to equip themselves for new raids. Therefore, you'd better prepare as much Nether Vortex as possible beforehand.
Completing Attunements
I know some players might forget to complete Attunements, so I'm specifically reminding you here: In WoW TBC Classic Anniversary, if you haven't completed Attunements, even if you've spent a lot of time leveling up, upgrading your build, and preparing various items, you won't be able to participate in the corresponding raids.
There are two Attunements that must be completed: Serpentshrine Cavern Attunements and Tempest Keep Attunements.
First is Serpentshrine Cavern Attunements. You must first enter Heroic Slave Pens and find an imprisoned heretic to accept the quest. Then you need to kill two bosses: the hidden final boss Nightbane of Karazhan and Gruul, the boss of Gruul's Lair, to obtain two quest items. After obtaining them, the quest is complete.
Next is Tempest Keep Attunements. This one is a bit more complicated. You'll first need to enter Shadowmoon Valley and complete a lengthy chain of Cipher of Damnation quests.
Then, go to Shattrath City and meet A'dal. A'dal will ask you to complete a series of trials, including The Steamvault, Shattered Halls, Shadow Labyrinth, and more, ultimately defeating Magtheridon. Defeating him completes the quest.
These are the things you need to prepare for the upcoming TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2. Now, get started preparing!
