Arc Raiders: Riven Tides Update went live yesterday. Did you spend a sleepless night?
Riven Tides Update not only added Riven Tides map and new Arc enemies, but also six new missions on the new map:
- 1. Battening Down
- 2. Shoring Up Defenses
- 3. Line in the Sand
- 4. Collision Course
- 5. Safe Harbor
- 6. A Wrench in the Works
Let me introduce them to you in detail.
Battening Down
This mission is issued by Apollo. They want you to enter the new Arc Raiders map, Riven Tides, and complete three simple on-site investigation steps.
Step 1: Photograph Seawall Crack. After entering Riven Tides, go to Seawall area at the top of the map, find the widening crack in the wall, and take a picture using the in-game camera.
Step 2: Repair Leaking Oil Pipeline. After taking the picture, move directly northeast. You will see a leaking oil pipeline. Simply follow the game prompts to repair it. Step 3: Collect a water sample. You need to go to the vicinity of Azzurro Beach on the map and collect a water sample in the shallow water. Bring it back to Apollo.
It's worth mentioning that after completing this task, Apollo will give you a key card marked with the number 107. This key card can be used to open room 107 on the second floor of Panorama Azzurro Hotel.
Yes, this is a key room. You can find ARC Raiders Blueprint in the room, and there's even a chance to get the rare item Renegade.
Shoring Up Defenses
This is also an Apollo mission, but this time you need to eliminate the arc enemies in Arc Raiders and fortify your base.
Step 1: Eliminate Wasps and Fireflies. You need to destroy five Wasps and three Fireflies in Riven Tides. To quickly eliminate them, it's recommended that you bring heavy weapons or Seeker Grenades.
Step 2: Collect Arc Alloy. After defeating these enemies, they will drop a material called Arc Alloy, which you need to pick up.
Step 3: Reinforce the crane outpost. Next, go to Stacking Yard location on the map, climb to the top of any of the large cranes, and use Arc Alloys you picked up to reinforce the outpost.
Step 4: Board up the hotel windows. Finally, go to Panorama Azzurro Hotel, find the rooms with pre-existing wooden planks in the windows, and further reinforce them by nailing on more planks. After completing this, return to Apollo to turn in the quest.
Line in the Sand
This quest is issued by Celeste, but the location is not in the new Arc Raiders map, Riven Tides, but in Barrett City.
Step 1: Head to the derailed train. You need to go to a location in the south of the map where there is a derailed train. Approaching the train will automatically complete the first step of the quest.
Step 2: Find the tower in the sand. Next, move northeast. You'll find a tower half-buried in the sand. Search for Morano Market Business Card near the tower - it's hidden in a box.
Step 3: investigate the market ruins. Head to the market ruins above the hospital.
Step 1: Sneak into the basement to take photos. From the market ruins, head northeast to an apartment near a merchant. Enter the basement and take photos at the designated location.
Collision Course
This is a mission given to you by Tian Wen. It's very simple; you only need to do two things:
First, eliminate a Comet. These Arc enemies are slow-moving but have high health, so you can carry some ARC Raiders Items to quickly take them down.
Second, collect Comet Igniter. After eliminating Comet, it will drop a loot item called Comet Igniter. Pick it up and bring it back to Tian Wen.
Safe Harbor
This is another mission given to you by Tian Wen, but it requires you to complete it on the new Arc Raiders map, Riven Tides, and within the same game.
Step 1: Find clues in the hotel kitchen. Enter Panorama Azzurro Hotel, take the stairs or zipline to the top floor, follow the signs to the restaurant area, and take a photo of the kitchen. The photo will show a tennis racket.
Step 2: Go to the tennis court according to the pattern. You need to go to the tennis court on the map. After reaching the designated signpost, use a metal detector to find the buried spot, then dig.
Step 3: Dig up the trinket and evacuate. You need to dig up the trinket Tian Wen requested, Precision Gimbal Trinket. After obtaining it, you can evacuate immediately and give it to Tian Wen.
A Wrench in the Works
The last mission is given by Celeste, and the mission location is Spaceport in Arc Raiders.
Step 1: Search the bus at Western Gate. Once you arrive at Spaceport, head to the vicinity of Western Gate and find the bus parked there. Enter the bus; an interactive marker will appear near the driver's seat. Search for it.
Second, find the hiding place in the water tower. After searching, move west to the northwest to find Water Towers. Climb to the top and use "Transmit the location" function on a crate.
