The long-awaited Diablo 4 x Berserk has officially landed on Sanctuary. This is the first time that the series has collaborated with an external IP, and it’s hard not to be excited.
Berserk is a groundbreaking work by Kentaro Miura, and its status and influence can be seen everywhere in the animation and gaming worlds. It tells the story of the hardships and adventures of a mercenary named Guts.
The mysterious adventure, dark style, and exaggerated violence in the anime are a perfect match for Diablo 4. It can be said to be a perfect match, a match made in heaven!
But to the disappointment of many fans, this collaboration did not make full use of the overlap between the two series, nor did it pay tribute to Berserk. In short, it is more like a means of making money, guiding players to spend in the game, just a few times.

The event lasts until June 3 at 10 a.m. PT and is divided into two parts. The first part is a free reward tied to the Reliquary battle pass system in the game. These rewards include:

In addition, for 2800 platinum, players can get Schnoz Pet Pack, which includes Mask Rakshas Mount Trophy and Chimimoryo’s Resemblance Emblem.
These are not small amounts of money. Expensive cosmetic items are not new to the game, and many items have been sold in the store for similar prices since the game was released. But some items are priced out of this event, such as Guts’ iconic Berserker armor and Dragon Slayer sword, which many players want.
In addition, the game does not fully show the essence of the content of the collaboration. Although the game has beautifully designed Miura’s legendary, which is commendable, and Skull Knight and Berserker armor have also experienced everyone. But there are no accessories or weapons related to the heroine of Berserk.
In addition, this collaboration also disappointed fans that there was no new content to unlock or experience, and the free rewards were not satisfying. It can be said that the developer missed a good opportunity to promote the game.
Inexplicably, Diablo Immortal also has a cooperation with this work. The activities and gameplay in this game are much richer. It features a boss fight with Nosferatu Zodd and offers generous rewards. And, Behelit-themed Legendary gems are introduced to give us new powers.
In addition, we can try to survive the famous Eclipse and face hordes of monsters trying to turn them into sacrifices to dark gods.
Why such creative gameplay and activities appear in the free Immortal instead of Diablo 4 is unknown.
Is the team of this game so declining that the occasional enemy dropping a currency can hardly support the first crossover? Players are also somewhat dissatisfied with the roadmap announced for the game, and the lack of content in this crossover adds fuel to the fire. It has no real content or interesting items, and it fails to excite players, but instead destroys players’ ideas about this collaboration.
It is not clear what other IP crossover collaborations the game will have next. But based on the roadmap that has been released, it can be speculated that there will be new crossover works released between September and December.
