In Forza Horizon 6, which is already online, there are some free Treasure Cars in the 9 regions of Japan in the game. These are very worth unlocking for early players, but they are very time-consuming to obtain.
However, you cannot unlock them through Autoshow or lottery. Instead, you need to find their locations in person on the huge game map through a few clues provided by the game, or some pictures.
The information in these pictures is very little and very vague. If you are not very familiar with these locations, or happen to remember the details on a certain picture, it will be almost difficult to find them in the early stages of playing FH6.
Next, this article will provide you with detailed methods to obtain Treasure Cars in each region, so that you can spend more time enjoying FH6 game and get more vehicles without consuming any credits.
What is Treasure Car?
Treasure Cars are somewhat similar to Barn Finds, but they are not the same.
Barn Finds requires you to reach enough game progress to unlock each one one by one, and the approximate range of these vehicles is displayed on the map, which is relatively clear.

Treasure Car only requires you to be very careful to find the signs that match the pictures, and there is no need to reach any specific game progress. As long as you can find them on the map and get close to these vehicles, you can unlock them at any time.
As you approach these locations, you'll receive a message telling you that an abandoned vehicle exists nearby, and you'll be able to watch an in-game cutscene to add the vehicle to your collection.
All nine Treasure Cars are shown below:
- Nissan Figaro
- Dodge Charger R/T
- Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE
- Nissan Safari Turbo
- Porsche 959
- Ford GT 2005
- BMW M1
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR
- Lancia Stratos HF Stradale
How to get all Treasure Cars?
Below, the areas and detailed locations of all 9 Treasure Cars will be explained so that players can easily find them.
1. Tokyo City-Nissan Figaro
This Figaro is parked in Tokyo City. The clue picture given in Forza Horizon 6 game is very blurry and has almost no reference value. You can only know that it is near Rainbow Bridge, but the range of Rainbow Bridge is too large.
The specific location you need to go to is the westernmost part of Tokyo City, and then find the bridge connecting Tokyo City to the island with Drift Club Japan on the map. Get here first, and then start from this bridge and follow the road along the coastline to the east.
You can find this Figaro near the middle between the starting bridge and the next bridge to the east.
2. Minamino-Dodge Charger R/T
It's not that difficult, it's probably the first Treasure Car that most Forza Horizon 6 players find, and it's easy to spot when you get your first Horizon Festival wristband in Minamino area.
It is parked near the golf course in Minamino area, and according to the clues in the picture, he is located near the 365 convenience store behind the course. He can be found behind the convenience store.
3. Ohtani-Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE
Finding this car is a little more difficult, but at least based on the information in the picture, it can be determined that it is near a radio tower.
You need to go to the western edge of Ohtani area, to the west of Ohtani Horizon Festival Site, and look for several radio towers close together on the hillside. You can find Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE nearby, which is located under a red radio tower.
4. Ito-Nissan Safari Turbo
This Nissan Safari Turbo has the top off-road performance among Forza Horizon 6 cars and is an indispensable vehicle for players who like off-road racing. However, the terrain in Ito area is too complex, and the clues provided by the photos can hardly give any help.
You just know it's located near a certain wind turbine, so let's get specific, you need to get to the northeastern part of Ito area, find Drift Zone sign on the map, follow the road to where Drift Zone starts, head straight up the mountain, find the wind generator, and you'll unlock it.
5. Shimanoyama-Porsche 959
This car is relatively easy to find because Shimanoyama's buildings are relatively rare, and according to the clues given in FH6 game, we can know that it is located near a convenience store.
You can go directly to Narai-Juku and find this convenience store near a larger parking lot. The car is parked directly in front of the convenience store.
It is worth noting that if you are advanced enough in the game, you can also find another Barn Finds vehicle here. Their positions are almost close to each other, and you can unlock two vehicle collections at the same time.
6. Nangan-Ford GT
This is probably one of the most difficult vehicles to find among players. Even if you know where it is in Nangan area, it is difficult to mark its exact location on the map because the road it is on is not shown on Nangan map.
You need to find the southeastern corner of Nangan area map and drive along the seaside road. In the parking lot closest to the coast, you can see two dirt roads that will eventually merge at the observation deck, where you can find this Ford GT.
Stay focused as you drive along Nangan Coast Road and try to slow down so you don't miss this unmapped dirt road.
7. Hokubu-BMW M1
If you try to find this FH6 car on your own, you'll find that the photo clues provided by the game are pretty useless. You'll only know that it's underneath a railroad that runs through the entire Hokubu area.
Go directly to the northernmost part of the main road in Hokubu area and find the railway bridge pier in the farmland area near the edge. This car is parked under the bridge pier.
8. Takashiro-Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR
This classic-looking Forza Horizon 6 car is located near a waterfall in Sotoyama area.
If you don't know the exact location of this waterfall, you can go north along the leftmost road on Sotoyama map and then reach the trail near Temple Run-Up Speed Zone, which is very easy to find on the map. This Evolution is parked by the river.
There is also another Barn Finds vehicle parked here, Nissan Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R, which can be unlocked at the same time.
9. Sotoyama-Lancia Stratos HF Stradale
If you have been paying attention to WRC or other rally events, you will definitely be familiar with this legendary model. It only needs a few upgrades to achieve good results in off-road events.
The scenery of Sotoyama is relatively simple, with snow everywhere, so it's hard to see its specific location in the photo, but luckily, it is located next to some buildings, so even though there is snow everywhere, you can find it by checking every building.
If you don't want to spend too much time, you can go directly to the vicinity of Off Piste Wristband Event and search nearby buildings. This car can be easily found.
